Snakes, Cockroaches and Math.

A very smart girlfriend with a high management post in a large company has recently mentioned to me that she is afraid of three things in this world: snakes, cockroaches and... math. While I can not help with the first two, shivering from the word "snake" alone, I think I could warm up your heart to the last phobia: math.
By showing that you are already using math daily while cooking, shopping, parenting, dating or traveling. By proving that you are actually better at it than you think. And by inviting you to observe daily math and present it to your kids as a toy, a tool and a friend. Here is a link to the slides from my presentation: "Don't transfer your math phobia to your kids."
